The 7th & 8th Grade Backpacking Trip

The main thing I remember the most was crossing the first river. I remember attempting to keep dry until the other side of the rapid sort of thing. I kept slipping on rocks and getting my hiking shoes soaked. When I got to the spot I realized I made a bad decision to go there and I took another route back. On that "route" I got stuck on two small rocks and couldn't go any further unless I get more wet. I just wanted to get back and get my stuff. It wasn't far back just about 50 meters but it took me FOREVER because I kept trying to keep my balance on the rocks. I had finally gotten back and was ready to eat my banana.
Crossing the rapids again I tried to be "smart" and wore my water shoes.~~~~~
